How to Access and Use .EPUB Ebook Files
The .EPUB format is one of the most widely used file extensions in the world of eBooks. You can open .EPUBs on many eReaders or through compatible software on computers, smartphones and tablets.
If you are having trouble viewing our ebook downloads or are unfamiliar with how to open them, there are a few options to choose from.
iPhone
If you are on an iPhone, you can use the built-in iBooks app to view .EPUB files. Or you can download the free Amazon Kindle App.
After downloading the .EPUB file from our site and downloading iBooks or the Amazon Kindle App, go to your 'Files' app and you can click on the .EPUB to open with your app of choice.
Android
If you are on an Android phone, you can use the free Amazon Kindle App.
Mac
On a Mac/Apple computer, you can use the built-in iBooks App.
Windows Computer
On a windows computer, you can download the free Adobe Digital Editions software.
How to open an .EPUB file in Adobe Digital Editions:
- Open Adobe Digital Editions on your machine.
- Select ‘File’, then ‘Add to Library’.
- Find the saved .EPUB file on your device. Double-click the .EPUB file you want to read.
Kindle Device
Every Kindle eReader comes with its own custom email address. You can transfer .EPUB files to your device by sending them to this email address.
- Go to amazon.com/myk in a web browser on your computer or smartphone. Select the Kindle you want to use from the "Devices" tab and click the device name in the expanded menu.
- On the next page, you'll see the "@kindle.com" email address for your Kindle. You can select "Edit" to change the address if you'd like. Remember this email address. You can save it as a contact in your email platform, so you can easily find it.
- Send an email to that address with your .EPUB file attached and it will show up in your Kindle after clicking the sync button on your Kindle. (It must be connected to wifi to be able to sync and download the file.)
